AVETS was built on accessibility for patients, clients and primary care veterinarians. When the pet owner has a question or the primary care veterinarian sends a referral, we respond efficiently because we know everyone’s time is valuable.

Critical Care Specialists available:

A Critical Care Specialist:

  - Answers any questions you have regarding a potential referral, including costs.

  - Receives any patient you directly refer during these times.

Clients may visit their hospitalized pet:

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year

Emergency/Urgent Referrals

Appointments are not needed for urgent referrals.

-  Patients are seen in order of medical priority, then by their arrival time.

-  A Critical Care Specialist, who will coordinate care according to medical need and availability, will see patients 8am-8pm daily.

 

Appointments

Appointments are scheduled in a timely manner for stable patients needing:

-  Advanced Diagnostics.

-  Procedures.

-  Specialist consultation.

 

Individual Specialists are available during specific appointment times. 

 

Patients are seen by a Specialist at a specific time.  Please advise your client that

the office visit may take several hours depending upons the diagnostic

procedure(s) performed.
