- Upon entering Route 22, immediately merge into left turning lanes.
- Turn left at the first traffic light onto Route 48 South.
- Proceed through second light. At third light turn right onto Northern Pike.

From Murrysville, Delmont and Points East
- Route 22 West to the intersection with Route 48 in Monroeville.
- Turn left on Route 48.
- Turn right at second traffic light onto Northern Pike.
- AVETS is located less than 0.2 miles on the left.

From McKeesport, Route 30 and Points South
- Take Route 30 to the intersection with Route 48.
- Take Route 48 North towards Monroeville.
- You will proceed approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection of Route 48 and Northern Pike.
