AVETS employs a team of experienced and dedicated staff clinicians that work exclusively at AVETS. Limiting their practice to Emergency and Critical Care, our staff clinicians work efficiently with our Specialists to receive emergency cases and provide on-going critical care. Every staff clinician brings to AVETS experiences in Emergency and Critical Care through participation in post-graduate internships and/or years of employment as an emergency clinician. This collective knowledge enhances the quality of medicine practiced at AVETS.
All of our staff clinicians are members of the Western Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. In addition to attending continuing education (CE) classes outside of our hospital, our staff clinicians participate in a variety of in-house programs that continually hone their skills.
